The road to Paame has helped a lot to people living in and around that area from transporting local materials to market and other purposes. As time passes on, people from the surrounding will come down to the road side doing business as tea shops, restaurants and many more. The waste generated from these businesses will be left to pass on thePhewa Lake making the Lake polluted even that before. How do you think we can solve this problem in the long run?

Its my suggestion for every body around Phewa Lake Not to throw waste materials around Phewa Lake area.
Its pretty sure that Paame has helped people around that place But also making Phewa Lake polluted.
I agree with above statement.
But what we can do is just aware people living that place.

Phewa Lake can be preserved by the following interventions:
1. Strict rule and regulations for the pollution factors
2. Sincere implementation of these rules and regulations
3. Raise awareness among local as not to through solid as well as liquit waste into the Phewa Lake and source pollution lake

I agree with the rita’s comment . I think we should warn the people. People might not listen first or second but several times warning will surely make them stop throwing the wastes in the lake. Let’s get together and save our lake and Pokhara.I think we also need to think about the garbage problem in China pool ( prithvi Chowk).Save Pokhara.

the road to paame is already built and just leart that it is polluting the lake. Whay not the concerned govenment office implement strict rules so that people cannot build house on the lake side. Also, encourage local people to build septic tank and soak pit.

You know, the dhal must be diverted from bulaundi so the seti rivers water will not come to the hotels and phewa lake.
but most of hte hotels have the seti rivers water used so watch out !!! no sickness’
* also build a check dam all around the lake.
I do have more thought for the lake. meantime I see the city and lakes in the land of USA and am amazed and we can also do so..
