They should be made aware of simple things like washing clothes and bathing in the lake, making the drainage system link to the lake might deteriorate the beauty of the lake and subsequently it's consequences. Programmes should be directed in minimizing such little things first and strict rules should be brought into practice. The local government should take this as their major responsibility and should not always expect from INGOs and NOGs. The only thing they need is suport from the local gvt. Such a beautifull place on earth must be saved for sure. Tourists have to know that all the things they want in the hotels and restaurants have to do something with the lake . . . . . . Though a lot of money is invested for Phewa Lake by JICA, evern a lot of people from Nepal is still unknown about , JICA investing for conservation of Phewa Lake.
